Learn how to manage and modify teacher profiles within the Classroom Mosaic platform. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for editing essential observer roles and school assignments for your staff.
1. Navigate to https://app.classroommosaic.com/
2. Click "People"
Find the Person
3. Search for teacher you want to assign as a Peer Observer. In this example we are searching for the "Demo Teacher".
4. Click on the teacher's name. Again, in this example our teacher is "Teacher, Demo"
Edit the Role
5. Click "Edit"
6. Scroll down and click "Add Position".
7. Click the dropdown menu to see a list of user roles.
8. Scroll down to located the "Peer Observer" and click on it.
9. Click on the organization selector. (School leaders should only see their school. Observers with rights in multiple schools will see all.)
10. Click on the school where the teacher will serve as a peer observer.
11. Click "Update"
Verify the Update
12. Click "People"
13. Find the teacher. Note: They should now have two roles in Classroom Mosaic. One will say "Teacher" and the other "Peer Observer".
